From my blog title, can you guess what I am going to talk about today? Yup, you are right! 2 Degree Ice Art! Everyone is talking about it on facebook and most of the photos I saw is from “2degree” ,  ”2degree” and  ”2degree!”. For you guys, I decide to give 2Degree Ice Art Exhibition a visit to see if it is a place worth the price! The place is very easy to locate. From Bayfront mrt station, take exit A out of the station and you will see a big signboard and it is just beside Marina Bay Sands.

Here’s the bits and pieces of my trip to 2degreet ice art. Enjoy!

The place is very cold, I brought my own jacket and even rent a winter jacket from “2 degree”, but still I am feeling so so so freezing cold! Do rememeber to bring extra jackets to keep yourself warm coz you won’t want to be frozen to death. The ticket actually cost me $28.80, 10% discount off the bill when purchase online and $5 for the rental of winter jacket and free complimentary pair of gloves are given per ticket purchase.

I have my cute pink muff on. I bought this cute muff for quite awhile due to impulse because it is too cute! But after that I realise that I never had the chance to wear it, firstly coz I never travel to any countries that snow and secondly if i wear it under such a hot weather in Singapore , people may think I am a crazy lady! Now finally I got a chance to wear it, I was so (^-^)<3! I was so happy when I know that they actually have pink winter jacket for rental and i actually asked for the pink one so that I can match it with my pink muff but the staff tell me that they are for kids. I was kind of upset coz i saw people posting photos of themselves wearing the pink jacket on facebook. (~o~) Why can’t I! The staff suggested that I get the red one as it is much bigger and longer in length therefore it will be able to shield me from the cold. So I finally agree… Having two jackets on me doesn’t really help at all. I  still feel so cold and even shivered! Oh god! So lovely people, please remember to wear the thicker the better!

Escape into a whole new winter paradise of ice at -15°C in tropical Singapore with me!!!! Magnificent ice sculptures of different countries popular landmarks. The sculptures are carved out of colour dyed ice blocks and illuminated with special coloured lightings! It look nice~
Manage to guess any of the  landmarks here?

I love Paris! Will visit the real Paris’ Eiffel Tower one day! As for now, let me have a picture with the ice eiffel tower!

Roar Roar Roar!!! Saw the big dinosaur???

Trying to act like a lady in the ancient days!

Try laying down on a freezing cold man-made snow patch like me! Cold to the max but at the same time it is kind of fun! Either is the way I position myself or there is a problem with the slide. This slide is not slippery at all, I need to use my force and try to get myself down the slide. =.=”’

THE GOOD:
The place is kind of romantic and pretty. It’s a great place to experience the cold weather and nice lighting.

THE BAD:
The exhibition hall is not that big so don’t expect to see a lot of things in there and I don’t think you can stay inside the place for the whole day. Imagine yourself there with so many fans blowing at you and under an air-conditional environment. It is freaking cold! While looking at the beautiful sculptures, I do have the urge to get out of the place at times. If you can stay there the whole day and still survive,  i will call you a superman or supergirl!
